NOROVIEW vs ATAS: Browser Order Flow Against a Desktop Platform

NOROVIEW vs ATAS compared honestly: real-time futures cost €69.95/month on ATAS PRO against $19 on NOROVIEW — but ATAS has a deeper indicator set, MBO tooling and a strong free tier.

NOROVIEW vs ATAS: Browser Order Flow Against a Desktop Platform

ATAS is one of the most complete order flow platforms retail traders can buy, with an indicator library and an MBO toolset we do not match. It is also priced in euros, with real-time futures gated behind the €69.95/month PRO plan and a free tier that explicitly cannot connect futures in real time. NOROVIEW puts real-time CME order flow at $19/month in a browser. Which is right depends almost entirely on whether you need depth of tooling or cheap live access.

Disclosure. We build NOROVIEW, so read this the way you would read any vendor's comparison page. What we can offer instead of neutrality is checkable numbers: every competitor figure below was taken from that vendor's own pricing page on 13 August 2026, not from a review site — the review sites disagreed with the vendors on nearly every number we checked. Where a competitor is better, it says so. If anything here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.

The short version

Choose ATAS if you want the deepest tooling: a very large indicator set, Market-by-Order analytics like the Iceberg, Stop Runs and Sweeps trackers, execution through connected brokers, and a mature market replay. It is a serious professional platform and the ULTRA tier is aimed at desks, not hobbyists.

Choose NOROVIEW if the cost of live futures matters more than the size of the indicator list, or you do not want to run a desktop platform at all.

The pricing, side by side

ATAS plan Price What it gets you
Start Free, no time limit 2 assets, 3 indicators per chart, basic indicators, Market Replay. Real-time crypto, but futures on a 15-minute delay and not connectable in real time
PLUS €24.95/mo 6 assets, 6 indicators per chart, 7 days of Big Trades history
PRO €69.95/mo 20 assets, 12 indicators per chart, real-time futures data, 3 exchange connections
ULTRA €89.95/mo Unlimited assets, indicators and connections, plus the MBO bundle

Lifetime licences are available at €999 (PLUS), €1,799 (PRO) and €1,999 (ULTRA), and multi-month billing saves up to 44%. Two things to note before converting in your head: ATAS prices in euros, and EU residents pay national VAT on top.

Against NOROVIEW:

NOROVIEW ATAS
Free tier Real-time crypto (~1s), footprint charts, paper trading, 2 charts 2 assets, 3 indicators, real-time crypto, futures 15-min delayed
Entry paid $19/mo — includes real-time CME futures €24.95/mo — futures still not real-time
Real-time futures from $19/mo €69.95/mo (PRO)
Top tier $120/mo €89.95/mo, or €1,999 lifetime
Currency and tax USD EUR, plus national VAT for EU residents

The comparison that matters for a futures trader is the third row. On ATAS, real-time futures is a PRO feature; on NOROVIEW it is on the cheapest paid plan.

Where ATAS is stronger

Indicator depth. ATAS ships a very large library and a strong cluster-analysis toolset. Our indicator count is deliberately smaller.

Market-by-Order analytics. The ULTRA MBO bundle — Iceberg Tracker, Stop Runs Tracker, Sweeps Tracker — works from individual order events rather than aggregated book snapshots. We do not have an equivalent.

Execution. ATAS connects to brokers and lets you trade from the chart and DOM. NOROVIEW is analysis only.

Market replay. Included even on their free Start plan, and mature.

A genuinely useful free tier. Two assets and three indicators with real-time crypto and no expiry is a real offer, not a demo.

Lifetime licences. If you know you will use it for years, €1,799 for PRO beats any subscription arithmetic. We do not offer one.

Where NOROVIEW is stronger

Real-time futures at $19 instead of €69.95. This is the whole argument. ATAS's own pricing page says the free plan carries a 15-minute delay and that futures data cannot be connected in real time; real-time futures arrive at PRO. We include them on the entry plan.

No install, any operating system. ATAS is a desktop platform — ATAS X in beta is listed for Windows and macOS, so it is not Windows-only, but it is still software you install and a machine you dedicate. We need a browser tab.

Priced in dollars, no VAT surprise. $19 is $19.

Simpler. That is a real feature if you are learning. ATAS's depth is its strength and also its learning curve.

What real-time US futures order flow actually costs

Software price is the number vendors advertise. For CME order flow it is rarely the number you pay, because on several platforms the market data is a separate line item. This is the comparison that matters, all-in:

Platform Software Real-time futures data All-in / month Runs in
NOROVIEW Basic $19 Included $19 Browser
Exocharts Desktop Pro $49 dxFeed included $49 + VAT Desktop
Bookmap Global $49 + $34 BookmapData $83 Desktop
ATAS PRO €69.95 Included in PRO €69.95 + VAT Desktop
Quantower $70 Purchased separately $70+ Desktop
Sierra Chart $36–$56 Denali + exchange fees $36+ and up Desktop
TradingView Plus+ Plan price CME add-on, extra Plan + add-on Browser

Two things are worth saying plainly about that table. Bookmap's advertised $49 is not the price of futures order flow — BookmapData futures is $34/mo on top, so the real figure is $83. And NOROVIEW and TradingView are the only two that run in a browser, but TradingView bills CME real-time data as a separate add-on. That is the whole argument for NOROVIEW in one row.

Where NOROVIEW is the wrong choice

NOROVIEW covers Binance only for crypto — Exocharts reaches five exchanges and Bookmap more than twenty. It is analysis only: no execution, no broker routing, so you trade through your own broker or exchange. Historical tick depth and replay do not go as deep as Exocharts' six years. And futures data on the free plan is last-closed-session history rather than a live feed — real-time CME starts at $19.

Against ATAS specifically: if you need Market-by-Order analytics, execution from the chart, or the breadth of their indicator library, they have those and we do not. Their free plan is also better than ours for learning the platform itself, since market replay is included.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free ATAS alternative?
NOROVIEW's free plan is real-time on crypto with footprint charts and paper trading and never expires. So is ATAS's own Start plan — which includes market replay. Neither free plan gives you real-time futures: ATAS delays them 15 minutes and cannot connect them live, and NOROVIEW shows history to the end of the last closed session.

How much is ATAS per month?
PLUS is €24.95, PRO €69.95 and ULTRA €89.95 per month, with up to 44% off longer billing periods and lifetime licences at €999, €1,799 and €1,999. EU residents pay VAT on top.

Do I need ATAS PRO for futures?
For real-time futures data, yes — that is the plan where it appears. The free Start plan explicitly cannot connect futures data in real time.

Is ATAS Windows-only?
No. ATAS X, their next-generation client, is listed for Windows and macOS on their pricing page. It is still a desktop install rather than a browser application.

Which is better for a beginner?
Honestly, whichever you will actually open. ATAS gives you more tools and a steeper climb; NOROVIEW gives you fewer and starts in a browser tab. If you are learning to read flow rather than building a system, fewer tools is usually the faster road.
