NOROVIEW vs Bookmap: What Real-Time Futures Order Flow Actually Costs

NOROVIEW vs Bookmap compared honestly: liquidity heatmaps, package pricing, and the separate market-data fees that make Bookmap's real futures cost $83/month rather than the advertised $49.

NOROVIEW vs Bookmap: What Real-Time Futures Order Flow Actually Costs

Bookmap invented the trading heatmap most of us picture when we say the word, and its free tier is genuinely generous on crypto. But its advertised price is not the price of futures order flow: Bookmap sells the software and the market data separately. Global is $49/month, BookmapData futures is $34/month on top, and the real number is $83. NOROVIEW's is $19, data included. That single line is what this comparison is about.

Disclosure. We build NOROVIEW, so read this the way you would read any vendor's comparison page. What we can offer instead of neutrality is checkable numbers: every competitor figure below was taken from that vendor's own pricing page on 13 August 2026, not from a review site — the review sites disagreed with the vendors on nearly every number we checked. Where a competitor is better, it says so. If anything here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.

The short version

Choose Bookmap if the heatmap is the whole reason you are shopping. It is their core product, they have refined it for over a decade, their historical replay is far deeper than ours, and they connect to a long list of brokers and data vendors. On crypto their free tier covers Binance, Bitfinex and twenty-odd more exchanges in real time, which is more than our free plan does.

Choose NOROVIEW if you want real-time CME order flow without assembling a software subscription plus a data subscription, or you want it in a browser rather than a Windows-class desktop install.

The pricing, unpacked

Bookmap's packages page is clear about this if you read to the bottom, but the structure catches people out, so here it is explicitly.

Bookmap package Monthly Yearly Markets
Digital (free) $0 — Real-time crypto (Binance, Bitfinex, +20 more); stocks and futures delayed
Digital Plus $19/mo $16/mo Crypto real-time; stocks and futures delayed
Global $49/mo $39/mo Crypto real-time; stocks and futures delayed
Global Plus $99/mo $79/mo Crypto real-time; stocks and futures delayed

Read the Markets column again. Every package — including the $99 one — lists stocks and futures as delayed. Live futures come from a market-data subscription bought separately: BookmapData futures starts at $34/month and stocks at $59/month, with dxFeed and Rithmic as alternatives at their own prices.

So the honest comparison for someone who wants to watch ES or NQ order flow live:

Software Futures data Total
Bookmap Global $49/mo + $34/mo BookmapData $83/mo
NOROVIEW Basic $19/mo Included $19/mo

This is not a gotcha. Unbundling data from software is a legitimate model — it is how most professional platforms work, and it lets a Bookmap user who only trades crypto pay $19 and never touch a data fee. But if you are comparing monthly costs for futures, compare $83 to $19, not $49 to $19.

Where Bookmap is stronger

The heatmap itself. It is their founding product and it shows. Ours renders resting liquidity beside the price axis and highlights abnormal levels; theirs is the reference implementation and has more years of refinement behind it.

Historical replay depth. Bookmap's recorded-data story is much deeper than ours. If you want to scrub back through a specific session from last year and watch the book rebuild, they do that properly and we do not.

Crypto exchange coverage, even on free. Twenty-plus exchanges in real time on a free account is more than we offer at any price. We are Binance-only.

Integrations. A long list of brokers and data vendors, plus execution from the chart on the relevant packages. NOROVIEW does not execute at all.

An add-on ecosystem. Bookmap has a marketplace of third-party indicators and tools. We have what we build.

Where NOROVIEW is stronger

One price, data included. $19/month covers real-time CME futures order flow — the live session, live candles, Time & Sales, order book and heatmap. There is no separate data invoice and no exchange-fee arithmetic to do before you know your monthly cost.

It runs in a browser. Bookmap is a desktop application and wants a machine that can keep up with a live book. We process the order book server-side and stream the result, so the requirement is a browser tab. That matters if your trading machine is a work laptop you cannot install software on, a MacBook, or an iPad.

Paper trading is included on every plan. Positions, orders and history, on the free tier as well.

Cheaper at the top. Our top tier is $120/month with 1000 levels of depth and 30 charts. Bookmap Global Plus is $99 before the data subscription that futures traders will need on top of it.

What real-time US futures order flow actually costs

Software price is the number vendors advertise. For CME order flow it is rarely the number you pay, because on several platforms the market data is a separate line item. This is the comparison that matters, all-in:

Platform Software Real-time futures data All-in / month Runs in
NOROVIEW Basic $19 Included $19 Browser
Exocharts Desktop Pro $49 dxFeed included $49 + VAT Desktop
Bookmap Global $49 + $34 BookmapData $83 Desktop
ATAS PRO €69.95 Included in PRO €69.95 + VAT Desktop
Quantower $70 Purchased separately $70+ Desktop
Sierra Chart $36–$56 Denali + exchange fees $36+ and up Desktop
TradingView Plus+ Plan price CME add-on, extra Plan + add-on Browser

Two things are worth saying plainly about that table. Bookmap's advertised $49 is not the price of futures order flow — BookmapData futures is $34/mo on top, so the real figure is $83. And NOROVIEW and TradingView are the only two that run in a browser, but TradingView bills CME real-time data as a separate add-on. That is the whole argument for NOROVIEW in one row.

Where NOROVIEW is the wrong choice

NOROVIEW covers Binance only for crypto — Exocharts reaches five exchanges and Bookmap more than twenty. It is analysis only: no execution, no broker routing, so you trade through your own broker or exchange. Historical tick depth and replay do not go as deep as Exocharts' six years. And futures data on the free plan is last-closed-session history rather than a live feed — real-time CME starts at $19.

Against Bookmap specifically: if the depth of historical heatmap replay is what you are buying, or you need twenty crypto exchanges, or you want to execute from the chart, Bookmap does those and we do not. Their free crypto tier is also plainly better than ours.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a cheaper alternative to Bookmap?
For real-time CME futures order flow, yes — NOROVIEW Basic is $19/month with the data included, against $49 for Bookmap Global plus $34/month for BookmapData futures. For crypto-only use the gap closes sharply: Bookmap Digital Plus is also $19, and their free tier covers more exchanges than ours does.

Does Bookmap include market data?
Not for stocks or futures. Every Bookmap package lists those as delayed; live data comes from a separate subscription — BookmapData futures from $34/month, stocks from $59/month, or dxFeed or Rithmic at their own prices. Crypto is real-time on all packages including free.

Is there a free Bookmap alternative?
NOROVIEW's free plan streams real-time Binance crypto with footprint charts and paper trading and never expires, but it does not include the liquidity heatmap — heatmap depth starts at $19. Bookmap's own free Digital package is a strong free option for crypto.

Can I run Bookmap on a Mac?
Bookmap is a desktop application; check their system requirements for current OS support. NOROVIEW sidesteps the question entirely by running in the browser, which is why it comes up often as a Mac and iPad option.

Which has the better heatmap?
Bookmap's, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. Ours is good and it is included in a $19 plan alongside real-time futures data. Theirs is the product the whole category is measured against.
